With the Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Wild Wadi as your neighbours, you might argue that you don’t need any other form of entertainment. Some, however, might be of the opinion that you haven’t really lived in Dubai until you’ve visited a mall.
If you’re of that other persuasion and a resident of Umm Suqeim 3, you’ll be pleased to know that you no longer have to travel too far to get to one, as The Mall has finally opened its grand doors to the public.
This new 10,000 square metre shopping centre is located directly across the road from Jumeirah Beach Hotel and houses the region’s top fashion, beauty and lifestyle outlets. The Art Deco architecture has a floral-inspired mirrored roof and an all-glass modernist exterior. It also features a signature water feature that vertically challenges the architecture and adds a natural element to the structure.
The Mall houses food and beverage outlets such as Hutch Café, Fusion of Flavors, Attibassi Café, and Socrates – all with their own outdoor patios – plus fast food outlets Burger King, KFC, BurgerFuel and Wok Twist. The al fresco area is also a great spot to hang out, while the children can be responsibly left in the dedicated kids’ arena. Fashion outlets include Escales and Hayla Couture, and you can get groomed at Zuri Beauty Salon among others. It’s a haven for the mallrats among you.
