Polka dot bowties, Outlet Mall essentials, designer boutiques and a much-loved high street haven

ZinZin: I love this small boutique, with its minimal but unique clothing from Hong Kong-based designers. They have only one piece of everything. Bambah: I'm a sucker for all things vintage, but lovely owner Maha has a great eye and this is where I go to pick up playful scarves, pleated skirts and 70s-style sparkly mohair jumpers. S*uce: Some of the best items in my wardrobe are from here, including a classy lace shirt-dress by Phillip Lim, circus-print Tata Naka bloomers and a silver lurex playsuit by Charfal. Valleydez: I recently got some vouchers to spend at Valleydez and I was blown away by the amazing collection. Sophie's Closet: this online store is my go-to for statement jewellery. I've found vintage Dior costume jewellery, rock-chic Vita leather studded bracelets and antique Weiss brooches from the 1950s. They bring a selection of items to your home so you can try things on and pay on delivery, only for what you want to keep. Reem's Closet: a second-hand store with a selection of high-end brands of shoes, handbags and clothes in mint condition. I've found never-used pleated leather Bottega Veneta heels and a bright red Alexander McQueen cashmere cardigan in there, and am constantly tempted by the huge selection of gently used Chanel 2.55s. Burlesque: I go to this store mostly to gawp at the eye-popping decor. They also have a small selection of bold accessories such as giant statement rings with Renaissance-style portraits embedded under magnifying glass. AI Zone at the Outlet Mall: you’ve really got to hunt but I've found an Opening Ceremony t-shirt maxi dress, a cutaway swimsuit by Tomas Meier and a blue lambskin leather jacket. Whistles: one of my high street favourites. They have nicely tailored separates that are all grown-up but with a good dose of fun. Reiss: I'm a big fan of the Reiss 1971 collection and I rarely leave the store without a purchase – even if it's a polka-dot bowtie from the menswear collection. More: Diya Ajit's style icon.
