S*uce Design A Dress competition Want to launch your own fashion label? One amateur designer will win the chance to create and develop a new collection to be sold at local boutique S*uce. Malaak autumn/winter 2011 collection The Dubai-based luxury label, known for its avant-garde abayas, has just launched a new range that includes tailored blazers. Recycle your old Nokia phone for a good cause Emirates Wildlife Society is running a month-long ‘Take Back’ recycling initiative in which Nokia users are encouraged to recycle their old models at Nokia stores in order to raise awareness of the region’s marine life. See sculptures made from recyclable materials at Mirdif City Centre To celebrate the UAE’s 40th National Day, the mall will be displaying 20 works hand-made by students using recyclable materials.
