Get up to 90 percent off brands on November 23-25 at the three-day Super Sale
Dubai’s 3-Day Super Sale is returning for its highly anticipated second edition before the end of the month, and there’s a huge opportunity to get your hands on some incredible discounts.
The first sale kicked off earlier this year and saw the beginning of a new range of smaller shopping events, to help bring savings in between the two major shopping festivals every year (that’s the Dubai Shopping Festival in the winter, and Dubai Summer Surprises in, well, the summer).
Having seen special sale events for major calendar events throughout the year, including public holidays and festive periods, Dubai Tourism is now bringing round the return of another huge sale event, which will see massive discounts across the city of up to 90 percent.
More than 250 brands at more than 1,000 outlets are currently signed up to take part in the sales, which land between Thursday November 23 and Saturday 25. The Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment also confirmed to Time Out Dubai that as many as another 100 brands will be joining in on the discount action, which will take the total number of available outlets to nearly 1,500.
For those who may be a little wary of potential shopping crowds, however, Saeed Al Falasi, executive director of retail and strategic alliances at DFRE (an agency of Dubai Tourism), said that plans are afoot to alleviate congestions and queues around major roads, mall entrances and exits.
“The event earlier this year turned out to be really popular, which created queues [traffic around major malls],” Al Falasi said. “We are talking to Dubai Police about a major event taking place throughout the city. Seeing the traffic, and the amount of people looking to attend the malls last time was a really key message to learn from the last event, and so we’re working closely with Dubai Police, and talking to the malls, to make sure that the right entrances are open, the right exits are open and to really streamline the traffic.”
So, now, what’s stopping you from hitting the malls and getting major discounts from retailers like Harvey Nichols, Galeries Lafayette, Bloomingdale’s, Debenhams, Converse, Reiss and Home Centre?
