OK, Carlton Cards might not be setting the world alight with its ‘humorous’ greeting cards, but there aren’t that many places to pick them up in this city, so it is a destination shop. The main sellers here seem to be Dubai-branded mugs, jigsaws, memo pads, lots of things with the Burj Al Arab on and, of course, camels. Not so likely are the salt and pepper shakers adorned with a Dubai landscape. Their sheer absurdity begs you to pick them up.
