The course: A par 72 course with an oasis theme, it’s the second of two Creekside courses in Dubai. Admittedly this 7,388-yard course is set just a little way back from the Creek itself, but it does have abundant water features, plenty of sand traps and indigenous plant life – ideal even if your golf is spoiling a good walk. The signature 18th hole also affords beautiful views of the towering Burj Khalifa across the Creek and is just one of the memorable holes on the course.
Other facilities: The “TaylorMade Performance Lab” uses motion capture technology to provide an enhanced fitting experience and ensure you end up using the correct equipment for your body type.
Celebrate a hole in one at: Spikes. The informal attitude and stodgy bar food make it lovable. There are classier spots (grape bar Trents or the lounge, Blades), but for post-round drinks with friends, this is a good hideaway.
18 holes at the Al Badia course: Dhs595 (Sun-Thu), Dhs795 (Fri-Sat).
