With the development of Abu Dhabi Fighting Championship (ADFC), MMA has seen a great surge in popularity amongst gyms and fighters. Many MMA gyms have emerged, and established gyms have introduced MMA training into their programs. The strong economic growth in the region and the investment from high personalities such as H.H Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the sport are guaranites that MMA will continue to develop and become a major form of entertainment in the region.
