Floyd Mayweather has touched down in Dubai to 'hang out for a few days'.
The superstar sportsman set tongues wagging online when he posted he picture of himself outside the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa.
In the accompanying caption is the Instagram post, the American wrote: 'Haven't been to the U.A.E. in awhile so I decided to come get the Royal Treatment and take 24 people to Dubai to hang out for a few days. I used to stay at The Burj Al Arab, 7 star hotel but now I'm at The Armani Burj Khalifa Hotel, the tallest building in the world!'
Mayweather hashtagged 'Presidential Suite', suggesting he is staying in the hotel's most lavish room. However, the hotel has no such space.
According to their official website, the Armani Hotel's most exclusive suite is the Armani Dubai Suite, designed by the man after whom the hotel is named, and priced at Dhs28000 per night.
Situated exclusively on the 39th floor - ALL of it - and measuring 390 square metres, it has two luxurious bedrooms (with a maximum occupancy of six), one with an oversized king-size bed and the other with twin-bedded accommodation. Both are en-suite and feature 40-inch LCD televisions.
The communal areas of the room have large sweeping windows that take in all angles of the city, including Arabian Gulf, skyline and desert. There's a private study, dinning room, gym area, powder room and distinctive circular entrance hall.
Mayweather is officially in retirement having hung up his gloves in September with a perfect record of 49 fights and 49 wins, the last of which came against Andre Berto. His 48th attracted the most attention, his defeat of Manny Pacquiao in May, dubbed 'the richest fight in history'.
After his hotel pic set tongues wagging, Mayweather on Monday posted images of himself enjoying a night time desert safari.
