Exercises include rowing, bench hop, TRX push up knee tuck, lateral hop, box jump and burpee, chin ups, squat and press, Russian twists, dead ball over the shoulder and sprints with a lateral hop.
There are 100 points to be scored at each station and the winners will be the male and female participants who rack up the highest score.
Not only will these titans be able to proudly claim the accolade of fittest male/female in Dubai, they will also be able to gloat over the Dhs2,500 they will each be tucking into their gym shorts for their efforts. Not bad for a morning’s work.
The playoffs, organised by F45 Training Dubai, will be the very first to be held in the region, but if you can’t be bothered to get involved yourself, you can exert yourself more modestly by shouting some encouragement from the sidelines.
The event became popular in Australia where thousands of people flock to each event, and now we get to see what Dubai has to offer.
