I am sorry to say that Dubai is not the place for Windsurfing. There is a very slight sea breeze that rarely gets above 10 knots all year round. I have heard that there is some decent sailing and surfing in Oman which is only 3-4 hours away for a weekend camping trip. Otherwise escape to Egypt for some serious blasting.

Hi,
I need some information about the wind in Dubai. I'm a windsurfer and I will probably come to Dubai before next summer and I will stay there for 5 years.
Is the wind strong enough for a windsurf to start (15 kt), or is it always tweak?

Thank you so much
Luca
