Margaret George
The latest novel from best-selling historical writer Margaret George is set in Britain in 1558, when Queen Elizabeth I was on the throne. The fictional account centres around the rivalry between the queen and her cousin Lettice Knollys, who is trying to gain power for her family, while the queen is focused on keeping the crown. Soon enough, everyone from poets to courtiers finds themselves involved in the bitter feud.
