The Verdict We looked at flights departing Dubai on a Thursday, and returning two weeks later on a Wednesday. If you’re willing to book an extra day off work and fly out on Wednesday, we found most flights were cheaper than the following day by a couple of hundred dirhams. It’s an easy way to make sure you have some extra spending money when you reach your destination. Finally, while non-direct flights might seem like a money-saver, surprisingly this isn’t always the case.
