New Egypt flights
Jazeera now flying to Hurghada Discuss this article
The second of Jazeera Airways' planned summer route launches has been confirmed as Hurghada in Egypt.
Kuwait's budget carrier Jazeera will operate five weekly flights, starting from KD29 for one way fares, to the city at 11.30pm local time.
Jazeera's chief commercial officer Steven Greenway said Hurghada was a globally popular destination.
He added: "Tourists from around the world are attracted to the town's stunning natural beauty as well as the famed Egyptian hospitality."
This is the second new destination announcement in three days, with Jazeera revealing on Sunday that services to Antalya will start this month.
Shiraz, Aleppo and Larnaca will also be added to the network this summer.
Hurghada is set on Egypt's eastern shores with more than 20 miles of beaches by the Red Sea.
The city is known for local and international cuisine, comfortable accommodation and its rich history, according to the airline.
