Have a teddy bears' picnic at XPark Jr

An adventure playscape for kids aged one to 12, XPark Jr has a packed schedule in store for little ones this month.

Tomorrow (Friday November 9) will see the return of the Teddy Bear Picnic from 8am to 11pm, where tiny guests can bring their favourite bear or cuddly toy and book a basket, then settle down under the trees.

It’s Dhs30 per child, excluding entry to the park, for Park House’s picnic basket with choice of sandwich, tangerine, cookie or veggie sticks, plus a blanket and plush toy.

XPark is also holding its first-ever movie night tonight (Thursday November 8) from 5pm onwards with a screening of The Lion King.

Kids over five can bring a blanket or a favourite cushion, follow the fairy-lit path and get cosy on the beanbags to watch Simba, Nala, Timon and Pumbaa. Hakuna matata.

Entry is included with the standard ticket, priced at Dhs45 for two hours for one child and one adult.

You can also spend Thanksgiving at the park from Friday November 23 to Saturday November 24, where you’ll enjoy two days of treats, arts and crafts, book readings and cookie-decorating.

For an extra Dhs30 per child, they get their very own bundle, which includes a build-your-own cheddar and smoked turkey ham cracker stack, watermelon cubes and a mini muffin.

There will also be a National Day Fiesta from Friday November 30 to Saturday November 31, so be prepared to wave the UAE flag, create souvenirs and more – and it’s all included as part of the entry ticket.

Outdoor play season, here we come.
Dhs45 (two hours, one child and one adult). Open Sat-Wed 8am-6pm, Thu-Fri 8am-8pm. XPark Jr, XDubai, Kite Beach, www.xdubai.com.
