Free kids’ show and a gaming station coming to Mall of the Emirates

It's all part of Dubai Shopping Festival

Free kids’ show and a gaming station coming to Mall of the Emirates

We just love the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), and apart from all the sales, there’s so much for the kids to do from Thursday January 10 until Saturday January 26.

Little ones can head to Mall of the Emirates daily starting at 1pm to enter the enchanted world of Masha and the Bear, a three-year-old girl and her furry friend who keeps her out of trouble during their adventures.

The dynamic duo will interact with kids through workshops that teach them about creativity, loyalty and true friendship. You can drop them off in the supervised zones, where they’ll wear their helmets and build a fireplace at Bear’s home or play dress up with Masha’s clothes, shoes and scarves.

They’ll even go fishing and live the story with virtual reality games – all they need to do is figure out whether they would like to be Masha or Bear.

Older kids will also be able to join Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Wheeljack and Grimlock – all of the Transformers – as they save the planet from their nemesis at a game of PlayStation daily from 10am-midnight.

They will be transported into a world of machines and cars as they try to defeat the enemy from their Transformer Capsule, complete with a racing car seat and LED lights. That’s hours and hours of gameplay, and there’s merchandise to be won too.

To take part, parents will need to present receipts worth Dhs450 for a token to access both the Masha’s World workshops and the gaming station.

Maybe we can try to get Masha to join the Transformers. Meanwhile, we’ll just enjoy the show.
Free. Jan 10-19 1pm-10pm (Masha and the Bear), Jan 17-26 10am-midnight (Transformers gaming station). Mall of the Emirates, Al Barsha,
