There are baby goats and rabbits at this mall zoo in Dubai

How often do you see hamsters, goats, chicken and rabbits all together in Dubai? We’re guessing not very often. Well, now you can interact with some very cute animal friends – at the mall.

At City Centre Me’aisem’s new pop-up “Outdoors”, little ones can meet the cuddly bunch at the petting zoo to help them learn more about caring for others. They will also get the opportunity to take a pony ride.

The zoo is available weekdays from 4pm until midnight on weekdays and noon until midnight on weekends until Monday March 25.

The second edition of “Outdoors” has seen the area just outside of the mall transform into a vibrant space inspired by buzzing international food markets.

Teenagers can challenge friends at arcade and carnival games in the Magic Planet zone daily. As for little ones, they’ll stay entertained watching family animations on the movie screening area’s bean bags every day.

Little kiddies can look forward to slime, glitter and sparkles on Slime and Portion week, and La La Land-themed workshops where they’ll create unicorns and rainbows.

There’s live entertainment and a DJ every Thursday, Friday and Saturday so get practicing on those dance moves. Best of all, you can access the workshops, movie screenings and the petting zoo – of course – completely free of charge.

For some yum bites, the hottest fast food outlets will also be at “Outdoors”, selling everything from liquid nitrogen desserts and rose milk cakes to poke bowls and chicken wings.

We can't wait to spend more time outdoors before summer hits, so bring on the fun.
Free (workshops, movies and petting zoo). Jan 25-Mar 25, 4pm-12am (weekdays) noon-midnight (weekends). City Centre Me’aisem, Sheikh Zayed Road (04 437 4999).
