OliOli hosts "Slime Lab" for creative kids

Kids will turn into mini scientists and take part in experiments at the lab

OliOli hosts

Who doesn’t love slime? Maybe mum and dad, but kiddies still love to snap, squeeze and stretch.

Edutainment centre OliOli is hosting days of oozy, gooey fun from Friday February 15 until Friday February 22 that will keep little ones entertained. Slime Lab, perfect for curious kids who love creating their own colourful concoctions, will see in-house "scientists" showcase experiments, stations and surprises.

OliOli will also be hosting a DIY workshop for Valentine’s Day where they can create hand-crafted greetings and even learn the art of sewing. (You can expect tonnes of heart-shaped cards, then).

Kids aged four and above get free access to both events with their general admission ticket.

Featuring 40 hands-on and interactive experiences, some of which have been plucked from around the world, OliOli isn’t about free play, but rather “smart” play. Meaning joy, the Hawaiian word OliOli describes what the kids’ museum is all about.

It’s meant to nurture children’s curiosity, imaginations and desire for exploration, and it does so through eight separate galleries spread over two floors.

Each space has been designed with innovative equipment, all inspired by ideas from leading global educators, developmental psychologists and artists, creating a whimsical, yet educational, experience for little ones.
Dhs63 (general admissions, kids aged 18 to 23 months old), Dhs42 (adults), Dhs126 (kids and teens aged two to 18). Slime Lab, Feb 15-22, 9am-7pm (weekdays), 9am-9pm (weekends). Valentine’s Workshop, Feb 14, 4pm-7pm. OliOli Building, Al Quoz 1 (04 702 7300).
