If you’ve ever felt frustrated over the fact that the nearest playground is a car drive away, there just might be one coming to your area real soon.

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the Municipality has set out to build 50 new playgrounds and squares for kids across the emirate.

Ensuring a healthier lifestyle for families, and in support of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, the new project aims to encourage mums, dads and little ones to head outdoors https://www.timeoutdubai.com/activities/kids-activities/387711-lets-go-o....

Dawoud Al Hajri, director general of Dubai Municipality, stated that the project reflects the municipality’s commitment to the directives of the wise leadership and the vision of building a happy and sustainable city.

We can’t wait to find out when we’ll be getting our own play spot so we can slide and jump into summer.
