We round up the best for the upcoming break

Dubai spring camps for kids 2019
Atlantis The Palm

It’s almost time for us to say “school’s out” once again, and parents, kiddies – well pretty much everyone can’t wait for the coolest spring camps to start popping around town. We have three that we know little ones are just going to love this holiday.

Atlantis The Palm
The family-friendly hotel’s spring camp, aptly named Young Adventurers, is for kids aged three to 12. Taking place over two weeks starting on Sunday March 31, it features indoor and outdoor activities for little ones. Mums and dads will enjoy the sun and sea as they get free access to the hotel’s pools, and the beach too.

From football and basketball to badminton, kids will play their favourite sports and get creative at the arts and crafts corner. At the supervised Young Adventurers camp, youngsters will get access to Aquaventure Waterpark and refuel with a daily lunch and snack.
Dhs325 (per day), Dhs1,100 (per week). Mar 31-Apr 11, Sun-Thu 9am-5pm. The Palm Jumeirah, (04 426 1387).

British Orchard Nursery
Tiny tots aged one to four years old will learn simple maths through rhymes and stories at this educational spring camp. Incorporating imaginative activities based on the works of author Julia Donaldson, it will help kids explore the world around them.

The two-week camp, which starts from Sunday Mar 31, will focus on one book and its central theme each week and is available across all 20 branches of the pre-school across Dubai.
From Dhs650 (per week). Mar 31-Apr 11, Sun-Thu 9am-5pm, timings vary. Various locations across Dubai, including Business Central Towers, Dubai Media City (04 438 5255).

City Centre Mirdif
At Camp Mirdif, young ones aged four to ten years old will find everything from book clubs and games to sports and workshops – all without having to leave the mall.

If you’ve got some nature-lovers at home, they’ll enjoy watching wild birds and learning from the experts at Orbi Dubai’s greenhouse live show. For those who love to create, there will be LEGO-building sessions on offer where they can unleash the power of their imagination.

American Girl doll fans will meet some long-haired friends, and they’ll read books together at their own club and even do some styling at the salon. It's time for some pampering…

VOX Movies will also be keeping kids entertained with special film screenings for the camp. We’re expecting some of the most-watched animations to be on the line-up.
Dhs169 (half day), Dhs250 (full day), Dhs675 (one week, half day), Dhs990 (one week, full day). Mar 24-April 11, 9am-6pm. City Centre Mirdif (056 177 9810).

Are you ready for some spring fun? We totally are.
