"Little Reporters" will teach kids about France through fun activities

Sign the kids up for a French-language summer camp

French-speaking kids aged six to ten will turn into explorers at Alliance Française Dubai’s summer camp. Taking place from Sunday July 7 until Thursday July 25, “Little Reporters” will help young ones improve their language while learning about France through a variety of educational activities.

Starting off with the basics, there will be ten hours of French language classes per week from 9am until 11am based on the National curriculum, which will help kids move up to the next grade in a structured method.

From 11am to 3pm, kiddies will take part in cultural activities including gastronomy, history and geography, cinema, art and crafts, games and treasure hunts – with the theme changing every week.

For the entire first week, the little reporters will be transported to the European nation through a series of activities to help them find out all about what makes it unique.

Week two will turn them into “Francophone Superheroes with recreational and cinematographic tasks, followed by “A Journey to the Future” on week three – time to learn about the environment and imagine what Mother Earth will look like in the years to come.

Book before Thursday June 6 for a ten percent discount on the full three-week camp. Summer edutainment with a twist? All we can say is “oh là là”.
Dhs1,250 (per week), Dhs3,375 (three weeks, including snack and lunch). Oud Metha, afdubai.org (04 335 8712).
