Dig It introduces new edutainment workshops

Imagine having a place where kids can learn about how gears work, get down and dirty in the sand trays or become little artists while colouring and drawing. That place does exist, and its Dig It at The Springs Souk, which has just added a series of new workshops to its construction site-themed play setup.

Throughout the year, kids can try their hands at arts and crafts, designed to stimulate development and keep them busy. From painting on canvases, building with drinking straws and cookie-decorating, to designing a three-dimensional model house, slime and paper bag-making and even pasta crafts, clay modelling and jewellery and tie-dye activities – there’s plenty on offer.

The 30-minute workshops are included in the price of the Dhs125 Drop & Dig ticket, but come at an additional Dhs30 for those holding the Dhs75 Stay & Dig . Don’t worry about repetition, as little ones can participate in more than one activity within the window. Plus, Dig It has also introduced free face painting with every workshop session.

If you visit on weekdays, you’ll get to make the most of the weekday offer, available Sundays to Wednesdays, which includes extended playtime to a total of two hours (not applicable during school holidays).

We’re totally digging the idea.
From Dhs75 (Drop & Dig ticket). Open daily, 10am-10pm. The Springs Souk, digitdubai.com (04 438 4479).
