Summer is coming and it’s time to prepare the kids to get off Netflix, stop Facegramming on Snapbook and burn off some proper energy.

Atlantis The Palm is running six summer camps for ages three to 17 – teaching everything from cooking to taekwondo and running exciting events such as diving and treasure hunts.

Each class can be booked per week and they run from Sunday July 7 to Thursday August 29.

Don’t forget mums and dads, all parents get free access to Atlantis’ pools and beaches while the kids play.

Plus, there’s a 30 percent discount on this spa package too.

Here’s your quick guide to the summer camps:

Aquamania
Atlantis The Palm is world-famous for its underwater worlds and now children can dive into the fun. Whether it’s going on a marvellous boat tour, learning to scuba dive with the PADI Seal Team, snorkelling in the Ambassador Lagoon or learning all about dolphins and other marine mammals at Dolphin Bay, this is one camp that kids will remember forever.
Dhs2,500 (per week, ages eight to 17). Sun-Thu 9am-5pm. Jul 21-Aug 22.

Junior Athletes
This one’s perfect for kids bursting with energy and will keep their minds and body active. There are a variety of sports and athletic events to join in including football, badminton, basketball, and taekwondo. It’s ideal for kids aged three to 12 and they’ll also learn what it takes to care for more than 65,000 marine animals through our Fish Tales Tour.

Junior MasterChef
Wouldn’t it be great if you came home from work and the kids had cooked dinner for a change? Well, enrole them on the Junior MasterChef course and the dream could soon become reality. Food-loving kids will be taught how to rustle up sushi, pizza and Middle Eastern classics from some of the top cooks in Dubai. Plus, they’ll have the chance to bake cupcakes and other sweet treats.
Dhs1,700 (per week, ages eight to 12). Sun-Thu 9am-5pm. Jul 7-Aug 22.

Summer Adventurers
Everyday little adventurers can join a varied programme where they can transform into a pirate, a superhero or even a mad scientist before taking on an obstacle course and joining a treasure hunt. There’ll be lots of pool activities, too. The week-long camps run from Sunday July 7 to Thursday August 22 and are ideal for ages three to seven.
Dhs1,200 (per week, ages three to seven). Sun-Thu 9am-5pm. Jul 7-Aug 22.

Teen Xtreme
This is not for the faint-hearted as children will join an action-packed week of adrenaline-pumping adventure. The Teen Xtreme camp takes youngsters on the Leap of Faith – one of Aquaventure Waterpark’s terrifyingly fun slides. Then, they can experience kayaking or join a junior lifeguard training course.
Dhs1,400 (per week, ages 13 to 17). Sun-Thu 9am-5pm. Jul 21-Aug 29.

Teen Athletes
This promises to be an endless summer of sport – so it’s ideal for older kids who like to be active. Expect plenty of outdoor games, fitness challenges, amazing water adventures and activities such as basketball, football, running, taekwondo, yoga, bowling plus many more. What better way to spend the summer than becoming the next sporting superstar?
Dhs1,400 (per week, ages 13 to 17). Sun-Thu 9am-5pm. Jul 14-Aug 15.
