Hit the world’s largest indoor ski slope

There can be very few cities that allow you to ski on sand, sea and snow – all in the same day. OK, we’ll admit we’ve never done all three in one 24-hour period, but there is nothing to stop you trying a triple ski in one action-packed day. After a morning waterskiing or wakeboarding at the beach, follow the huge monolith jutting out of the Mall of the Emirates roof and into the sky. Choose from five different ski runs or try your hand at tobogganing and snowboarding. If you’re already a competent skier, you’ll relish the next challenge – sandboarding down Big Red, Dubai’s biggest sand dune.
