Things may have finally moved inside for summer, but there are still a huge number of air-conditioned evening activities taking place in coming weeks. From pumping clubs to cooking courses, we round up the best.
Unless you’ve developed a lizard-like outer shell rendering you impervious to heat, you might have noticed it’s got rather warm in Dubai. But the heat doesn’t mean you have to be a hermit, because there’s more than ever to do inside. With the city’s population (and, it seems, prosperity) having soared in the last 12 months, this year we’ve seen an unprecedented number of events, offers, and happenings taking place well into summer. There are just under three weeks before the season ends – so now is the time to get stuck in. To help you do so, our resident experts have trawled high and low and rinsed their contact books dry in the hunt for the best air-conditioned action going down. From club nights, rock gigs and drinks deals to special menus, movie screenings and sports events, we’re confident this list has something for everyone, organised by week to make sure you make the most of your time. Enjoy.
