International City - renters' guide

What to expect, where to look and how much you should pay

Not far from Dragon Mart (a haven of bargain Chinese wares, a must-visit if you haven’t already), this development has become somewhat shabby in the past few years. Though it offers extremely low-cost accommodation, and as such residents are primarily blue-collar bachelors, the majority of the buildings and surrounding areas appear unloved and dirty. A few years ago, you might have found some dinner-time gems in the area, but sadly many have long since abandoned their posts.
