Jumeirah Lakes Towers - renters' guide

What to expect, where to look and how much you should pay

A constantly developing area of New Dubai, JLT is seeing more and more outlets – from spas to shops to restaurants – open around its lakes (around which the smooth paths are perfect for rollerblading). The Mövenpick Hotel is soon to open, and will join the existing Bonnington. A park is currently under way, but construction on roundabouts and slip roads connecting the development to Sheikh Zayed Road is currently hampering traffic, leading to congestion during rush hour. Opt to use the Metro (there are two stations servicing the community) however, and avoid traffic issues altogether.
