Ladies only parks and beaches in Dubai

Get outdoors at these female-friendly spots

Al Safa 2 Park
This teeny, well-hidden stretch of green tucked away in the suburban Al Wasl neighbourhood is open to women and children only on weekdays. Mums’ groups often meet here and it’s a great place to kick back and read a book on a bench while the little ones mingle in the sandy play areas.
Free entry. Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Palm Jumeirah (04 453 0456).

Wild Wadi
Until the end of this month, Thursday night at Wild Wadi, is ladies’ night. One night a week, the water park opens itself up to female guests, who can swim in the comfort of an all-female environment (including the staff at the water park) and at a slightly reduced rate (by Dhs30).
Dhs205 per adult. Dhs165 per child. Thu 8pm-midnight. Wild Wadi, Jumeirah Beach Road (04 348 4444).

Jumeirah Beach Park
The park is reserved two whole days a week, Monday and Wednesday, for ladies and children (only including male children under the age of four). The beach park even has female staff on site during these days, to ensure guests feel comfortable, but even so, respect for local culture regarding clothing worn in the park is still required.
Mon and Wed 8am-10.30pm. Opp Chilli’s Restaurant, Jumeirah Beach Road, Jumeirah (04 349 2555).
