Join the circus

The power of dance to combat oppression is at the heart of Cirque Éloize’s touring show, Cirkopolis. It comes to Dubai World Trade Centre this Eid from 23-26 September with a visually enrapturing show. Unlike traditional circus acts, the company of 12 acrobats deliver darkly philosophical messages about the tyranny of industrial revolution that is reminiscent of romantic poet William Blake. In the stunning show, the cast rebel against monotony, reinvent themselves and challenge the limits of the factory city.

Watch a movie at any time

Reel Cinemas at The Dubai Mall will be showing flicks for 24 hours each day September 24-27. Reel Cinemas at Dubai Marina Mall and The Beach are also showing motion pictures well past midnight.

Chill out to cool tunes

Lebanese restaurant, Al Qasr, will be hosting a special international musical event September 24 during Eid Al Adha, featuring Lebanese singers Toni Kiwan and Laura Khalil, who will be performing their most popular songs on the night. An additional attraction will be the oriental show by Marilia.

Break the ice

The Olympic size Dubai Ice Rink will host DJ Nights September 24-26, 2015, from 9:30pm to 11:15pm. Groove to the beats from DJ Stutter, DJ Masterstepz and DJ Bliss for Dhs125.
Dubai Ice Rink will also host ‘Moscow Circus on Ice,’ a one-hour acrobatic extravaganza for Dhs50. Visitors will also have the chance to meet and greet the stars at the after party for just Dhs10 more at Dhs60.
The show takes place 7pm-8pm and the meet and greet event is 8:15pm to 9:15pm.
September 26 will see a Special Eid Foam Party where skaters have the chance to play with water pistols in a pool of foam and strobe lights. Get involved for Dhs100.

Arabian Center will showcase traditional elements including Henna, Tanoura - an Egyptian folk dance, Dabke - an Arab folk circle dance, Mellawy, while Lamcy Plaza will organize Bollywood dances and cultural acts like Gawafi and Tanoura. To continue the spirit of the festival, Arabian Center & Lamcy Plaza will also host a three-day promotion scheme October 1-3 for customers to enjoy a multitude of great promotions and amazing treats at more than 120 retail outlets.


Experience Arabian Nights

Come and enjoy Ali Baba’s encounter with the 40 thieves along with Aladdin and his lamp, the Little Beggar and the Fisherman and the Genie. Story Pocket Theatre’s new version of Arabian Nights features music, comedy and puppetry.

Go to Kidzania

From September 24-27 enjoy the Eideya ('Eid gift' in Arabic) Fair. More than 25 local businesses will showcase their products in the Main Plaza. You'll have Al Youlla Dance performances and Fluffy Dance to look forward to and the have the chance to win prizes.
Parents will be offered rejuvenating treatments such as massage, hypnotherapy, reflexology and meditation while complimentary Arabic coffee will also be served.
