VIDEO: Stuntman hangs off Dubai skyscraper in new advert

Time Out Dubai has amazing video and pictures of a stunt on the tallest skyscrapers in Dubai, in Dubai Marina and over Sheikh Zayed Road, from Oleg Cricket

No doubt it takes quite a lot of energy - and bravery - to do the work of a daredevil. So it’s no wonder Gorilla Energy drink has chosen Oleg Cricket as the face of their new commercial.

A new clip shows the Russian stuntman – who has previously been filmed in a series of precarious positions high above Dubai – at it again.

This time we see him firmly placing his branded cap on his head as he prepares to do a handstand on the edge of a Dubai building.

Next viewers watch the casually dressed stuntman carried out a series of bodyflips and race across buildings in parkour moves until he lands on a helipad.

Cricket can be seen sliding down some famous towers in the Marina and on Sheikh Zayed Road. It all adds up to a video that is amazing and utterly terrifying in equal measure.

And it's not the first time we have been left in a state of shock by such stunts.

In the last 12 months, Cricket and his fellow band of dangermen have used the stunning architecture for the backdrop for their tricks.

Abudi Alsagoff was among the first, when the calisthentics trainer was pictured above the Marina, while James Kingston followed suit in and around the same part of town.

Professionals like Alain Robert have also come to town. The 52-year-old tackled the 75-storey Cayan Tower, without a safety harness earlier this year.
