Nikki Beach Dubai - first look pictures

Time Out Dubai gets a sneak peek at the new Nikki Beach Dubai, the luxury restaurant and beach club in Dubai on Pearl Jumeriah, opening February 2016

Dubai loves luxury. And it loves a beach club, so the soon-come Nikki Beach on Pearl Jumeirah is rightly setting tongues wagging.

With an army of celebrity fans including Beyoncé, George Clooney, Madonna and Leonardo DiCaprio, it is likely to attract the great and the good of Dubai's social scene from the moment it opens in February 2016.

The brand, named after owner Jack Penrod's daughter Nicole, started out in Miami as a café (Café Nikki). Now, it's in 11 different locations across the globe, including Marbella, St Tropez and Mallorca.

Penrod, an American entrepreneur, feels the UAE's stylish reputation and love of luxury makes it a perfect fit for our (man-made) shores.

The restaurant and beach club are the first phrase of a giant 52,000 square metre development between Nikki Beach and Meraas Holding, the group behind City Walk, Boxpark and Bluewater Island. When complete, the property will include a spa, Café Nikki, Key West, Satine by Nikki Beach Restaurant & lounge, Nikki Spa by ESPA, and Tone Fitness Centre.

Beyond the facilities, there will of course be the white sandy beaches on the newly-completed Pearl, right by Four Seasons Dubai in Jumeirah. Sun-seekers can lounge the day away there or in one of many VIP cabanas by the pool.

Live music from DJs, saxophonist, percussionist and violinist will be your soundtrack.
