Oleg Cricket greatest hits 4K video in Dubai

Time Out features one of the latest videos of a stuntman in Dubai. See the Oleg Cricket greatest hits 4K video, featuring iconic Dubai skyscrapers

Things to do in Dubai in September, Things to do in August

Oleg Cricket has fast become one of the most recognisable names in Dubai's growing extreme sports scene.

His unflappable nature in the most intense of situations, mostly atop some of the emirate's most iconic skyscrapers, has induced shock and awe in equal measure.
Starting off 'simply' tip-toeing on high-rise ledges, he has ramped things up to the point where just this month he posted footage of himself riding a hoverboard overlooking Dubai Marina.
And now in his most accomplished release yet, he has delivered a music video style short film short in 4K resolution, the standard for cinema projections.
As has become his trademark, the video is both stomach-turning and stylish, and serves as much as stunt short as it does an insight into a how a young daredevil can make the most of life in Dubai. There are, of course, the rooftop tricks and flips, only this time they are punctuated by drone footage and high-definition handheld clips and looped together in a previously unseen professional edit.

Set to a soundtrack of the Lorde track Tennis Courts, remixed by Flume, the three-minute video features some of his already viral hits, as well as a hat-full of new bits and pieces. Among the highlights are a 20-second segment shot over JBR in which he appears to forward-roll and spin on his back down the smooth arched edges of one of the skyscrapers.
The star of the clip is also shown hand-standing on the pillars that rise up from the roof of the Cayan 'Twisty' Tower in Dubai Marina, while he shares his screen time with a female adrenaline junkie.
Away from the edge of the precipice, Oleg shows off his quad-bike skills in the desert - and by 'skills', there appears be a recklessness on ground level that has no place on high, as he chases after a runaway vehicle, and flips one while taking a corner at speed. There's also a fleet of sports cars thrown in for good measure.
