Dubai bikers have got double the reason to celebrate this month as Deep Purple prepare to rock Dubai Bike Week…

The world’s top bikes, and bikers, combined with a concert of a lifetime from rockers Deep Purple. Sounds pretty good, no? Then prepare yourselves for a treat.

The UK rockers, crowned by the Guinness Book of Records as the loudest in the world, will take to the stage at Dubai Bike Week on Friday March 20.

“Deep Purple is famous for their great live performances and we wanted Dubai Bike Week 2009 to stand out with quality entertainment that would be appealing to a broader audience.” said Mr. Marcel Bode, General Manager, Harley- Davidson of UAE organisers of Dubai Bike Week.

He added: “The Middle East will experience a fantastic combination of Dubai Bike Week, Gulf Bike Expo and a great host venue of Dubai festival City with all its convenient facilities . The current combination is unique and the growing motorcycle industry has finally got a great platform to display, promote the motorcycle products and lifestyle”

The three-day bike festival is set for more exhilarating entertainment featuring Scorpion Customs leading stunt team and celebrated DJ GQ with his stunt team of bikers, local bands including Juliana Down, Abri, Lumi, The Meerkats, Paul Akiki and Jonas Desai playing in the Piazza daily, DJs, bike competitions and much more.

The complete action-packed Gulf Bike Expo 2009 will showcase the latest in bikes, ATVs, apparel, accessories, custom-designed bikes and motorcycle-related products from all major international brands from Europe, the USA, Canada, Italy and Japan.
