Wasla sound

The inaugural Wasla Music Festival takes place at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre this weekend. Taking to the stage are some of the biggest artists from the Middle East’s alternative music scene, including Jordanian rock band Jadal (pictured), Egyptian DJ and producer Neobyrd, Algerian singer Souad Massi and Lebanese alt rock band Mashrou’ Leila. Representing the UAE’s local music scene are Abri & Funk Radius. Expect to hear an eclectic mix of everything from reggae and jazz to dance music.
