Kris Jenner coming to Dubai

Time Out Dubai reveals Kris Jenner coming to Dubai to reveal her latest business interests. Find out if you can meet the Queen of the Kardashians

Keeping Up With The Kardashians clan, hold on to your seats, because the reality TV show is coming to Dubai.

The business tycoon and momager of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kris Jenner, is coming to town next week for an announcement of a new venture. Her week-long trip will include an exclusive red carpet event for the city’s top socialites and VIPs on April 12, followed by an official press conference on April 17, where her latest pursuit of fame and infamy will be revealed.

While there’s no news of any of the Kardashian sisters or the Jenners (or even Kanye West!) joining her on this trip, Kris will have a camera crew in tow, along with the producers of Keeping Up With The Kardashians TV show.

The E! producer’s last visit to Dubai in 2011 was subject to an international controversy, as viewers criticised that the Dubai-based scenes were doctored for TV and were, in fact, filmed in Los Angeles.

During the visit, Kim inaugurated the Millions of Milkshakes outlet in the Dubai Mall, however as bad luck may have it, when the episode aired worldwide, Kim was in the middle of dodging press about her failed 72-day marriage to basketballer Kris Humphries. Kris Jenner, very professionally (and like any good mum), dealt with the accusations with grace and denied them to be true.

America’s most famous (albeit controversial) family has never come to Dubai as an entourage, however, Khloe Kardashian was in town last year to promote a beauty seminar. And Kanye’s better half, Kim Kardashian-West, was seen dune bashing and dining at Cipriani, when she returned to Dubai to launch her seventh fragrance in 2014.
