A new spaceship-looking giant ball pit has been unveiled at Dubai Mall.
Taking up residence in the Star Atrium for a limited time, the only disappointing thing about it is that adults aren't allowed.
The Giant Ball Pit is part of Dubai Summer Surprises and will operate from 10am-10pm every day until Agust 30. Tickets are free to anyone who spends more Dhs100 inside a childrens' toy store at the mall.
Riders, who have 15-minutes to have as much fun as they want, can choose from three different covered slides at varying heights, all of which land in thousands of soft balls.
Dubai Summer Surprises is the city’s other annual shopping festival, characterised by big sales in shops, discounts in certain restaurants and sometimes the startling smile of Modhesh, a children’s character who, as far as we’ve ever been able to tell, is part caterpillar and part accordion.
This is the 19th edition of the shopping, dining and entertainment extravaganza, and the more than 6,000 outlets taking part is up there with the very biggest.
Other fun activations include shows such as Alvin & The Chipmunks Live on Stage, and The Jungle Book at Citywalk, plus Fashion Forward Summer Pop-up in Mall of the Emirates.
