The private sector will enjoy a three-day holiday between September 11 and September 13, it has been announced.
Details were confirmed by Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation on Twitter, shortly after His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai had done the same for the public sector.
Eid Al Adha normally starts on the 10th of Dhu Al Hijjah, when millions of Muslims converge on Makkah for the annual pilgrimage.
Those enjoying the holiday will likely be able to benefit from extended mall opening hours, as has become custom in recent years.
