If you’re saving up for a helicopter or hot air balloon ride around Dubai but fancy a sneak preview of what’s in store, we have just the right treat for you.

To be honest, these images can’t be captured by the human eye, making them all the more impressive.

A team of Russian photo enthusiasts who collectively go by the name of AirPano have been to the Emirate three times in the past few years and taken breath-taking aerial snaps that make parts of Dubai look like mini planets.

There is ‘Marina Planet’, ‘JLT World’ and many other planetary beauties that you may well recognize.

As Airpano puts it, “Unlike viewing a traditional photograph limited by its frame, or watching a film that follows its director's idea, a spherical panorama gives you a freedom of being on location, where you can turn around 360° and have a closer look at every detail.”

If you look carefully you’ll notice that some of the aerial shots show parts of Dubai that hadn’t been built yet, testament to just how fast this city grows.

On Friday, Dubai Media Office shared two such pictures showing the before and after of Dubai Marina.

Over the years, the Airpano team have been to 300 famous locations around the globe and have even taken their iconic 360-degree panoramas from the earth’s stratosphere.

All of these unique images are available to purchase on their website in a variety of sizes.
