Dubai goes green for Paddy’s Day

Some of the best images of Dubai looking resplendent in green

Last Friday saw the world celebrate everything there is to love about the Irish. Dubai, being Dubai, did it in style.

There’s no way any one person could see all of the tributes being paid across the city to the people of Ireland, so we’ve done you a favour and bundled the best of the best together so you don’t have to.

Burj Al Arab

Top of the list, obviously. Always ready to sparkle, the Burj Al Arab knocked it out the park this year with a whopping great shamrock splashed across its front.

The Irish Village @ Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium

We can only imagine the goings on at The Irish Village on Friday, and the whole stadium became awash with an emerald hue.

The Cayan Tower

The twisty-turny Cayan Tower looked Gotham-esque, lit up green to mark the occasion and share the love with its marina neighbours.

Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi Hotel

Ok, so it’s not in Dubai, but it does look pretty mega! We hope you had a great St. Patrick’s Day.
