The arrival of Apple’s new store, situated in The Dubai Mall, is coming on Thursday April 27. The two-storey outlet will be its third store in the UAE, and boasts high-value retail estate in the mall, with views of the Burj Khalifa.
Apple says opening day will bring with it a mysterious “special event”, although the tech giant was reluctant to give out any more information ahead of time. That is perhaps unsurprising, with the company having a long history of keeping secrets firmly under wraps, leading to massive media and online speculation ahead of any Apple launch.
Apple expects winding queues for the opening of the store, and we expect to see excited fans burst through the doors on the stroke of 4pm.
We can only speculate on whether a new flagship store opening will see Apple CEO Tim Cook drop by.
