Update - Viceroy Palm Jumeirah will not be rebranded to FIVE

Takeover of luxury Palm Jumeirah resort refuted by Viceroy CEO

UPDATE - 24/06/2017 09:28

Since this news first emerged, it has been confirmed the hotel will remain under the Viceroy management and brand.

Viceroy Palm Jumeirah is no longer Viceroy Palm Jumeirah.

The hotel, which opened less than three months ago, has been bought out entirely by FIVE Holdings, the hotel and property development group. The hotel formerly known as Viceroy will now fall under the FIVE Holdings subsidiary, FIVE Hospitality, and the new hotel name – FIVE Palm Jumeirah Dubai – appropriately reflects this.

For now, it’s business as usual and the outlets will remain the same, only the name has been changed.

The hotel, which will see an October 2017 formal brand launch event, accommodates 477 rooms and suites, plus hotel apartments, villas and an array of food and beverage outlets.
