What’s on this weekend at Truckers Summer Warehouse

If you haven’t been to the DWTC food festival yet, here’s why you need to

What’s on this weekend at Truckers Summer Warehouse

We love truck food, just love it. So when we found out there’s a summer-long festival of food truck loveliness for us to enjoy, we made a beeline straight for Truckers Summer Warehouse at Dubai World Trade Centre.

From Al Capone wings by Buffalo wing specialist Wingsters to Oreo-stuffed giant churros at YBRD and a creamy burrata pizza-flatbread creation by Pinza, it’s like an episode of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives exploded in Dubai.

But isn’t just about the food – there’s also a range of goings-on for you to enjoy as the weekend gets nearer.

Wednesday night is gaming night, and the Warehouse will be filled with free-to-play games. Powered by IGN Middle East, options span old-school arcades, consoles, collaborative games and state-of-the-art technology. There will also be a series of tournaments to get properly involved with.

When the weekend arrives there’s ladies’ night, where Dubai’s womenfolk can enjoy free entry to the Summer Warehouse and two drinks for the price of one. And on Saturdays there are two reasons to get you off the sofa. Cooking studio Top Chef will host hour-long lessons for adults (from 8pm, Dhs150 per person) and kids aged six to 12 (from 5pm, Dhs85 per person). Email booking@topchefdubai.com to register. Complementing Truckers’ showcase of local food brands, ARTE, The Makers’ Market will pop up every Saturday, with 35 local artisans selling handmade creations ranging from jewellery to toys and skincare products.

So, what’s stopping you?
