Eid al-Adha fireworks special at The Beach

Four days of spectacular fireworks, performances and special offers

If you’re looking for somewhere to celebrate the upcoming Eid al-Adha holiday, we recommend heading over to The Beach, opposite JBR, for a carnival atmosphere.

Meraas, the developer behind The Beach, plus City Walk, BoxPark and other major tourist hotspots in Dubai, is putting on a four-day fireworks bonanza across the weekend.

Starting on Thursday August 31, and running until Sunday September 3, the beachfront promenade will host live marching bands and roaming performers to entertain you. At 8.45pm each day a huge fireworks display will begin, while a range of family-friendly activities will also be taking place.

A kids’ play area will be constructed on the South Lawn area, and a range of dining and retail offers and promotions will be available across the weekend. The Warehouse Gym is offering a 20 percent discount on one-week passes exclusively over the Eid al-Adha weekend, kids can eat for free at both Bianca Mozzarella & Co and Fratelli La Bufala, you can get a second pair of River Island jeans at half price, and there’s a limited-edition menu at Shake Shack.

Meraas has also hinted at a range of extra special performances taking place after the fireworks conclude, so make an evening of it at one of the brilliant food and beverage outlets, or catch a movie at Roxy Cinemas – which is offering Dhs99 tickets at the Director’s Lounge premium experience until the end of August.
