Exclusive pictures of Barasti’s brand-new pool area

Legendary beach club opens brand-new, 1,200 sq m swimming pool

If you’re heading to Barasti this week, you might want to take a little sneak peek at this little beauty.

Time Out Dubai has got exclusive images of the brand-new swimming pool that’s just been finished off at the legendary beach club down in Dubai Marina. And, quite simply, this place looks amazing.

While many of the city’s beach clubs and pools vouch for minimum spends and/or entry fees, it’s quite refreshing to see that Barasti’s new pool area, all 1,200 sq m of it, is completely free to enter, nor is there a minimum spend.

“In 2014 we renovated our middle deck area, which meant we lost our swimming pool,” said Phil Hardie, assistant director of food and beverage at the Mina Seyahi Complex. “Now with market changes and guest demands, we’ve made changes on our beach level to incorporate a new pool area. It’s been in the pipeline for a while, so we’re really excited to see it finally open after a summer of refurbishments.”

The pool will be open Saturday to Wednesday from 10am until late into the evening, and on Thursdays and Fridays from 9am until 7pm.

And we can’t wait to check it out.
