Dubai gets new happy studio art space

Unicorn coffee shop to follow at colourful new Dubai craft studio

Remember Dubai’s Unicorn Café? Well the city’s just got another new rainbow-hued attraction that looks likely to set the city’s Instagram feeds on fire.

The Happy Studio, in Al Quoz’s Alserkal Avenue, is the brainchild of Jumana Al Darwish, founder of The Happy Box, which supplies themed, educational activity boxes filled with fun surprises for children and adults alike. As well as being the home of the Happy Box production, the Happy Studio has been designed to showcase interactive community installations, events, arts and crafts workshops and later on feature its very own unicorn coffee shop.

The official launch party of the Happy Box is taking place this Saturday November 18 from 3pm until 6pm, with an intriguing theme of “Honey I am Home”. And everyone’s invited.

Guests can expect a lot of family fun with cotton candy, crafty workshops and an excessive amount of rainbow balloons. Did we mention there’s a bathtub to pose in and amazing neon signs?

Given the location of the Happy Studio, in trendy Alserkal Avenue, there is also plenty to explore in the neighbouring galleries and beautiful cafés.
Sat Nov 18, 3pm-6pm. Happy Studio, Warehouse 73, Alserkal Avenue.
