The Laughter Factory returns with a top bill

Three hilarious comedians have their say on Dubai expats

Comedy

You expats are funny. Well that’s what The Laughter Factory comedians are saying, anyway.

They think you’re so funny, in fact, that it’s what they’ve called their new tour, which kicks off in Dubai next month.

Humerous folks Allyson June Smith, Prince Abdi and Ian Coppinger will co-headline the event, and we can’t wait until our sides are splitting.

The howling will take place on Thursday February 8 and Friday 9 at Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach in JBR, before moving on to the Radisson Blu Ajman on the Wednesday February 14, the Grand Millennium Dubai in Barsha Heights on Thursday February 15 and both Jumeirah Golf Estates and Jumeirah Creekside Hotel on Friday February 16.

Allyson June Smith is Canada’s most in-demand female stand-up and a favourite of Jason Manford, who she toured with, opening his shows.

Irish charmer Ian Coppinger has a zero fail record for getting the laughs and is one of the country’s most respected comics.

Finally, Prince Abdi is a rising comedy star, who you’d do well to see in a small venue before he starts taking over arenas.

The show promises some unique (and hilarious) takes on expat life, that are bound to hit a few nerves, but what’s comedy without a bit of fear?

If you think you can handle a bit of well-intentioned ridicule, then it’s an event not to be missed.

Let the cackling commence.
