New organic farmers’ market opens in Dubai Festival City

Bringing you fresh organic food from farm straight to fork

Is there anything more delightful than a stroll around the farmers’ market to pick up some organic eggs after a morning of sunrise yoga?

We’re all getting a bit more conscious of what we consume these days, which is why the new farmers’ market at the Organic Souk at Dubai Festival City is a welcome addition for foodies and health nuts.

The market is now running every Saturday from 8am until 2pm at Marsa Palace Creek, where visitors can buy delicious farm-fresh goods directly from the people who have grown them.

The event aims to encourage the community spirit for which the destination is known, and visitors will be able to enjoy remarkable views of the Creek while filling their baskets full of the good stuff.

The food on offer will be of the finest organic variety, handpicked daily for ultimate freshness and top flavour (dependant on your cooking skills).

As well as picking up the weekly shop, there will also be a ton of entertainment and activities for all ages to enjoy.

Alongside food trucks, there will also be a mini petting zoo with a variety of farm animals including ducks, chickens and rabbits.

The event will support farmers from all over the UAE who will present their produce ready for purchase, all in one location and with no middlemen involved.
Free. Sat 8am-2pm, ongoing. Organic Souk, Dubai Festival City (www.facebook.com/dubaifestivalcity/).
