Grab a bargain at the Dubai Police auction this month

Cars confiscated by the police will be up for grabs

Dubai Police are holding an auction - and it's a great chance to grab a bargain at a fraction of the cost.

It will happen on Saturday 10 March at 11am, but residents are invited to see what's on offer between 9am-12pm each day until Thursday at the Department of Transport and Rescue.

The event will mainly focus on used items, spare parts and tools - but cars confiscated by the force will also be up for grabs.

It includes vehicles that have been impounded for street racing or whose owners refuse to pay off their traffic fines.

All you need to do is bring along your Emirates ID card.
