Bargain footgolf at Arabian Ranches in Dubai

Taking part in the hybrid sport costs Dhs85 per adult

Sports & Outdoor

Wish you could combine your football talents with your love of golf? Dubai’s foot golf course may just be your ticket to sport stardom, and it’s cheaper than ever.

Arabian Ranches Golf Club is offering a cheap way to play the sport on an exclusive course, for Dhs85 per adult.

What’s more, teenagers below the age of 18 pay Dhs50, while kids below the age of 12 get to play for free. It’s the perfect place to raise the next Tiger Beckham (or David Woods?).

The course features nine football-sized holes spread across a short distance, making this a fun-filled game for the family or a great after-work stress-reliever.

The aim of the game is to kick a football into the hole in as few attempts as possible, which isn’t as easy as you’d think. It’s still way less stressful than real golf though.

Time Out Dubai gave it a go but found it wasn’t going to be the start of a sports star career.

Dhs85 (adults), Dhs50 (under 18), free (under 12). Daily, 6:30pm to 8pm. Arabian Ranches Golf Club, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road,
