Enjoy free parking on UAE's Al Isra Wal Miraj public holiday

RTA officials have announced the initiative

While many workers in the private sector are unlikely to get a day off this weekend, we do have some good news.

On Saturday April 14, which is the Al Isra Wal Miraj public holiday, drivers can park their car in almost any paid zone without paying a dime.

Yousef Al Rida, chief executive of RTA Support Services, said: “All paid parking zones will be free across the emirate during the holiday except for the multi-level parking lots.."

Paid parking fees and usual working hours will reactivate on Sunday April 15. All good things must come to an end.

RTA announced changes to the working hours of all its services in Dubai, including customer happiness centres, paid parking zones, public buses, marine transit modes and vehicles testing and registration centers.
