Public transport changes for Al Isra Wal Miraj holiday

Revised timetables are in effect and the changes have now been announced

Planning to travel somewhere in Dubai over the weekend? Be aware of these timetable changes.

On Saturday April 14, during the Al Isra Wal Miraj public holiday, bus stations will be operating on a different schedule

Main stations like Gold Souq will be running from 4.25am to 12.57am and Al Ghu-baiba station will be open from 4.26am to 12.45am.

Sub-stations such as Satwa, will be open from 4.57am to 11.05pm. Except Route C01, which operates round the clock.

Al Ghusais station will be in service from 4.30am to 12.12am, and Al Quoz Industrial Area station will be in operation from 5.02am to 11.35pm.

Jebel Ali station will operate from 5am and continue up to 11.22pm.

If you’re planning on taking a car instead around Dubai, you’re in luck.

Except for multi-level parking lots, on Saturday April 14, people can park their car at any paid-parking zone without paying a dime.

Yousef Al Rida, chief executive of RTA Support Services, said: “All paid parking zones will be free across the emirate during the holiday except for the multi-level parking lots."

Paid-parking fees and usual working hours will reactivate on Sunday April 15. All good things must come to an end.
